We attempted to grow pumpkins again this year and actually got a couple that were somewhat respectable. One of them didn’t turn orance but we carved them both anyway. The rest were bought at a little pumpkin patch in South Jordan. The Monday before Halloween we carved them all and put them on our porch. [...] Growing up, my house didn’t have big trees that drop loads of leaves. I envied some neighbors up the street who had a couple of huge, leafy trees in their front yard because they always had heaps of leaves to play in.
