My dad went home from the hospital on Friday night. He’s doing pretty well. We were all a bit nervous about it but it’s been two nights and he’s still breathing and looking better and better. He took home some oxygen and a nasal canula which he uses around the clock and he has to [...] The Good news: My dad is going home from the hospital today! ODD compiled a list of his ailments a while ago so I thought I’d post it here with a couple of updates. -41 days in two hospitals (5 days in one, 36 in another) -25 days on the ventilator -a trip with [...] I’m feeling much better this morning. I actually slept last night (thank you Advil PM) and can breathe out of my nose again. That good progress considering the state I was in yesterday. I’m still taking it a little easy today to keep the healing process going but at least I don’t feel the need [...] I haven’t posted in a week because, well, there hasn’t been much to post. Just more of the same. I’ve found with my sewing machine always out and available I’m much more able to make all the fun things I’ve been wanting to.
