Whee! It’s time again for another round of random crap! Oh, and I’ll throw in a little about Mother’s Day, too. Mother’s Day was lovely. It was overcast, which I love, Peanut sang with the Primary kids in Sacrament Meeting, I made grainy mustard chicken for dinner, and I received lots of chocolate, homemade cards, [...] Earlier this week Peanut and Wingnut found the big patch of mud that was last year’s garden. Peanut made most of the mess. Wingnut received most of the mess. By the time I realized they were already well on their way to becoming filthy so I let them continue until it was almost [...] Last weekend, over Halloween, we visited ODD’s parents before trick or treating. It was perfect jacket weather and we played outside with the cousins who were visiting, too. ODD took his plane out to try flying it. He got some stuff for his birthday to modify it and make it tougher but it was still [...] My mom came over this evening and took the kids and me out to Wienerschnitzel for dinner. While Peanut smeared her greasy, chocolaty hands and face all over the window while waving “Hi!” to complete strangers and Wingnut slurped at the constant parade of melty ice cubes I marched in front of him (yes, I’m [...] Today I did a lot of this. That’s washing dishes in case you couldn’t tell. It was also laundry day and the last load of towels just finished drying. I might even fold them tonight instead of unceremoniously dumping them into the still full basket of unfolded towels I did last week. Maybe not. [...] |
