I really should have spent my day sewing, and in my defense I did do a little handsewing that needed to be done, but from preschool on I ended up spending my day in the kitchen making stuff. Since cream has been on sale at the grocery store recently I thought today we’d make butter [...] A few times for preschool lately I’ve had Peanut make decorations for Christmas. She seems to have liked it. Right after Thanksgiving I helped her make a handprint wreath out of green construction paper and a paper plate with the middle cut out. After gluing the handprints on she liked dipping her fingers in red [...] For preschool on Friday Peanut and I made peppermint bark. Melting the chocolate. Crushing the Peppermints – yes, Aliese, I think it would be even better with home-made candycanes! Must try it! Mixing it all together. A few times Peanut got really excited about it and started stirring too fast and flipped some [...] With all the worry and concern I’ve had for my dad I thought it might be nice to write down a few things that have made me happy the last few days in addition to the fact that my dad is still alive.
