After posting about my sunburned legs last night I got ready for bed and as I took off my shirt I felt some tenderness on my arms and back. I got sunburned there, too. Apparently I need some adult supervision when applying sunscreen to myself. Most of it isn’t too bad but a few spots [...] I took the kids to the pool this afternoon. Before we left I had all of us in swimsuits and meticulously sunscreened (if you have to use sunscreen as often as we do sunscreened becomes a real word) any bit of visible skin including hair parts and ears. Off we went and had a lovely [...] And sometimes those cherries are full of WORMS!! Dude! No joke. I had grand plans for making some cherry chocolate ice cream today with cherries from my yard. I was using the recipe for burnt almost fudge ice cream my mom gave me and was just going to substitute cherries in for the almonds.
