I look forward to the holiday season, Christmas in particular, because of all the yummy goodies that only seem right during this time of year. Monday, as our first real day home after Thanksgiving, I started the goody-making. In addition to pretty photos she has easy instructions to follow and good suggestions for flavor combos so you can mix and match [...] This weekend I made a few more batches of French macarons. They’re just so yummy and there are so many variations I want to try I can’t seem to stop myself. I’m okay with that, though, plus I’m not consuming them all by myself. We took a bunch to church choir on Sunday and they [...] We attempted to grow pumpkins again this year and actually got a couple that were somewhat respectable. One of them didn’t turn orance but we carved them both anyway. The rest were bought at a little pumpkin patch in South Jordan. The Monday before Halloween we carved them all and put them on our porch. [...] |
