Alrighty. I haven’t managed to get a goals update post written since July but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on them. Now that the end of the year is upon me it’s time to do a wrap-up of them. We took the kids downstairs and did the Christmas morning thing. We made a few things for the kids this year I’m really excited about. One was a doll house. We didn’t really make it, though. My Grandpa K did. He made [...] I know everyone’s probably sick of reading all the Christmas posts out there right now in the blog world but I’m adding to them anyway. ODD had Christmas Eve off so we dawdled around at home in the morning. Peanut and ODD made French toast for breakfast which we ate around 11. ODD no longer [...] After I blogged about the parenting difficulties I had with Peanut I got the kids up from quiet time. I had Peanut clean her room and while monitoring/motivating her through the clean-up I discovered Peanut had torn one of her books page by page. Again. And hid it behind her toy box. I gathered all [...] I believe my daughter may be hatching a plan to do me in. Peanut has been doing this thing lately where she’s pushing her limits to see if she what she can get away with, even if previously it’s landed her in time out. Things may have changed, you know.
