Elephant On A String

Peanut gave Wingnut this toy elephant on wheels for his birthday in April.  This little elephant is a favorite with both the kids and a couple of weeks ago I noticed Peanut had tied a shoelace around it’s neck.  Now both kids like to pull it around by the string.  It’s rolls so nicely on our wood floors they have a lot of fun with it.

Then a couple of days ago I found something that made me laugh out loud.

Peanut had tethered this little pet elephant to the table leg so it wouldn’t wander away while she did other things.  Or rather so a little brother wouldn’t wander away with it while she wasn’t looking.
