My sister, Teeny, is graduating from high school this year and her last prom was last weekend. It was probably the last time I’ll do her hair all fancy until she gets married someday. I’ve done her hair for almost all the formal and semi-formal dances she’s been to so I’m kind of sad to see this time of her life come to a close. She had State Solo and Ensemble in the morning, as did her date, but they finished in the early afternoon so I had plenty of time to do her hair and make-up before she was picked up for dinner. It turned out beautifully and I think the style is my favorite of any I’ve done before on her or anybody else.
The white flecks in her hair are actually silver sparkles. They don’t photograph terribly well but in real life they look pretty.
