I haven’t posted in a week because, well, there hasn’t been much to post. Just more of the same. I’ve found with my sewing machine always out and available I’m much more able to make all the fun things I’ve been wanting to. So that’s something I’ve been doing a lot of lately. Sewing. I [...] A while ago I began reading Fancy Nancy to Peanut. She loves it, especially when Nancy slips while carrying the parfaits to her family. Anyway, there’s this dress that Fancy Nancy wears in the book with lors of ruffly layers (the one she’s wearing here) that I’ve wanted to replicate but couldn’t quite figure out [...] No, not the euphamism. I actually made some curtains. In all the places we’ve lived I’ve never bothered with curtains. It always seemed like such a waste when our apartments were never really super-duper-nice. Plus they always came with blinds so it isn’t like we needed them for privacy. We did have drapes in our [...] Since I can’t make bags for all of you (though I really would love to) and I got so many emails and comments about the pattern here it is. I did make up the pattern myself but used a bag I already had for the basic dimensions. Though the bag was a good size it [...] Blue Cricket Design is hosting a giveaway, too.
