We had our branch Christmas Sacrament program today. It kind of turned into a HSF- Mellysnelly show.
Between scripture readings I lead the branch primary kids in 3 little songs, a couple of other branch members sang a song, Mellysnelly’s DH sang a song while Mellysnelly accompanied, we both sang with the RS sisters, Mellysnelly, her DH, NYDD, and I sang “Some Children See Him” (which we thought was appropriate for our branch), then I sang “O, Holy Night.” It went really well, I thought. I always enjoy the church Christmas program and it was really fun to sing so much again. I just worry that people are like, “HSF again! Geez, give someone else a turn.” Oh, well. If I’m asked I’m more than willing, so hopefully everyone liked it.
Well here are a few things I still have left to do to celebrate Christmas:
- Finish a couple of pockets for Peanut’s quiet book
- Put quiet book together
Paint face on doll for Peanut- Put doll together
- Wrap a few last minute gifts
Make cheeseball- Get gravy mix for C.E. dinner
- Do dishes
- Make nice C.E. dinner
- Watch scads of movies
- Make Tracy’s awesome cinnamon rolls and Christmas Casserole for Christmas breakfast
- Play games till we drop
- Clean building
- Make Reeses’ PB cup cookies and Rolo Chocolate cake mix cookies
- Clean out Peanuts massive toy basket

oh!!! you singing in church reminds me!!! i need to tell you about my crazy busy week! i performed 6 times in one week! i was barely home and when i was home i was either sleeping or eating. it was soooo much fun!
don’t let me forget to tell you everything either on the phone or chatting online.
I wouldn’t know what to do in a ward/branch where you had to do everything! Our ward is SO huge we consider ourselves lucky to get to be able to do anything at all. LOL
Your program sounds lovely.
Have a great Christmas!
i don’t think i would ever get tired of listening to you sing, so i’m sure your branch loves it! i hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Just found your blog…first of all, you look like a young (insert name of the gorgeous redhead Desperate Housewife). Secondly, your t0-do list makes me tired reading it. And third, I shouldn’t even be here because my daughter has a peanut allergy
.
@ Aubrey,
You are too sweet. Thank you!
@ Christine,
LOL! And thanks for dropping by.
