I had a post ready about my older brother, but something funny happened and now I don’t have energy to try to fix it. I will try to get it out in the next few days, though. In the meantime, here’s a picture of the blessing dress for my baby for you to enjoy. It’s almost 100 years old. My great grandmother made it for my grandma. So my grandma, my mom, my little sister, and I have all been blessed in it. Now soon it will be my little baby girl’s turn. It’s nothing terribly fancy, but as was hand-made by my great grandmother I consider it priceless. As you can see, it’s really long. NYDD was concerned it might not fit her, lol.

The top of the gown. It still blows me away every time I look at it, to know it was made by hand. I wish I could show it better, but the stitching is perfect! She’s going to look like an angel.
